Fee Review January 2024

Due to the significant increase in the costs of providing GP services, the clinic and our tenant GPs have conducted a review of fees and they will be increasing from January 2nd 2024. Your Medicare rebate, which is set by the federal government, has not increased in line with rising costs for many years. In fact, it is so low that each time we accept the bulk-billing rate for any service, the GP and the clinic both make a considerable loss. We can no longer absorb that. Our primary goal is to provide gold standard medical care and that can only be done by billing privately.

Your consultation fee is dependent on the duration of the doctor’s time dedicated to your care. Generally speaking, anything that will require the doctor’s time, requires a consultation. See a full table of our time based fees HERE

Occasionally there are other fees for certain services, consumables, procedures and administration in addition to, or instead of the fees listed in the table.
