Adolescent Health Assessment

During this phase of your life, you have the power to stay on top of any health issues that may become problems in the future. Your health is in your hands, and it’s incredibly important to take control. Health issues can prevent you from living your life to the fullest, but your proactive approach can change that. Your appointment with your physician, which can take up to an hour, is a step towards this. Your physician will check for a clear picture of your overall health during this time, but your active participation is key. This includes asking questions about your medical history and running tests. These 45-minute appointments are also great opportunities to ask any medical questions. It’s always better to ask your Doctor than it is to rely on “Dr Tiktok”, who, at best, gives subjective answers and, worse, gives wrong information that can lead to further health issues.

Best of all, we’re proud to announce that the University of Melbourne has selected us as a partner in its latest study. The study aims to improve the overall health and well-being of young people in Victoria by offering annual health checks to those aged between 14 and 24, just like yourself.
