Mental Health Care

It’s OK to be stressed; it’s OK to get angry or depressed. It’s also OK to talk about it with a trained professional. Having mental health issues is totally normal! Today, it seems like more and more of us are stressed than ever. Many of us are connected to work or information outlets to a seemingly endless degree. Or we always seem to be on the go. Or both.

As important as it is to take care of our physical health, it’s equally important to take care of our mental health. Sadly, for many of us, taking care of our mental health seems to fall by the wayside. The thing is, mental health issues are just like any other health issue: if left untreated, it will only get worse.

Ongoing mental health issues can affect your moods, such as mood swings. It can affect your sleeping patterns, making you sleep far too much or far too little. Mental health can also affect your diet and social interactions.

We are so happy to be able to offer our patients the Mental Health Care they need. Sometimes, that could mean medication to treat a particular problem. Other times, it could mean just chatting with a compassionate person.

As it stands, one in five people in Australia reportedly suffer from some form of mental health disorder. Again, it’s OK to not be OK! Our friendly and compassionate staff can help with conditions such as depression, anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Bi-Polar Disorder and more.

The thing to remember is that mental health is a marathon, not a sprint. As such, our Doctors will be here with you on your journey. We’ll assess your mental health and then come up with a plan. We’ll help you find the most effective treatment for your issues.

It’s never too late to seek help for your mental health. Even thinking about seeking help is an essential first step.
