Dr Louise Johns

Dr Louise is a General Practitioner with over twenty-five years of experience as a GP. She graduated with a MBBS from Monash University in 1990 before continuing her education at the FRACGP Family Medicine Program, where she graduated in 1997.

During her career, Dr. Louise has spent twenty years associated with Masada’s Mother Baby Unit, where she assisted new parents and their infants.

Dr. Louise enjoys working with patients at all stages of their lives but has spent her career thus far focusing on Women’s Health, including contraception, sexual and reproductive health, pregnancy and post natal care, plus pediatrics/children

Dr Louise is accredited to insert and remove implanon.

As a member of the Village Black Rock team, Dr. Louise looks forward to continuing to help the Bayside community in her role as a GP. Dr.Louise is a dedicated mother of three young adults. Outside of work Dr Louise loves cooking and baking, reading bushwalking, beach combing and fitness. She wants all of her patients to know they are in good hands and will receive the same level of care she would expect for herself.

Dr Louise and Dr Alison were former colleagues and are happy to be working together again.
