For a healthy pregnancy, most women should have prenatal appointments every 4–6 weeks in the early stages, increasing to every 2–3 weeks from 28 weeks, and then weekly after 36 weeks. Your GP will tailor this schedule based on your individual needs.
A one-off pregnancy check focuses on a single visit to confirm pregnancy or address a concern. Prenatal Care is an ongoing plan of regular check-ups, monitoring your baby’s growth, your health, and preparing you for birth. Continuous care provides the best outcomes for both mother and baby.
